Concert music includes concertos for flute and cello, a set of miniatures recorded by True North Brass, a suite for horn and orchestra for Canadian Opera Company principal horn Joan Watson, and a commission for the Kitchener Waterloo symphony:

…both the piece and the performance were pretty much the highlight of the whole concert. Larry Larson’s trumpet was beautiful and flawless, and the piece itself had echoes of Aaron Copland, John Williams and even Samuel Barber. Written for trumpet solo, strings and harp, Silent Town is a miniature masterpiece.
